Julian Sturdy MP - York Outer

Julian is a working farmer from the York village of Tockwith where he lives with his wife Victoria and two children, George and Florence.

A Yorkshireman born and bred who has a tendency to call a spade a spade, has a proven reputation for getting things done. As an effective local campaigner he has been fighting to save our post offices, supporting local shops, running road safety campaigns, fighting to protect our Green Belt and holding regular local surgeries across the new constituency. He believes that local communities should be at the heart of society and is passionate about keeping them there.

Julian says "As someone who has grown up and worked in the area all my life, being local helps me to understand the issues and challenges that people have in York and the surrounding villages. I care passionately about our local community because this is my local community, and the issues that affect you affect me and my family."
